You CAN do it!

 

I just got back from my CPA’s office. I remember when I first started my business and the government would pay me money every year in a tax return. I can see myself standing in their office joyfully telling my first CPA that I can NOT WAIT till the day, I get to PAY the feds and the state MONEY for my business.

So once again for the 6th year in a row, I’ve had the JOY of receiving a large tax bill. And today it happened again.

At first I felt fear and shock. I had been paying my payroll all year which I thought would cover it but in the end, I made way more than I thought I had made which then brought me up to a higher tax bracket (thank you very much).

I sat with my feelings and the hard cold reality of what is owed and I used the opportunity to dive deeper into my true thoughts and beliefs behind the emotion. (Follow me here- and try it for yourself the next time emotion strikes.)

1. I sat in meditation for 10 min to really feel it and observe it.
2. Then I “Slayed a dragon” about my feelings. (While I ate a gluten free double chocolate chip cookie, which I thoroughly enjoyed.)
3. I observed that my limiting beliefs lodged deep into my cells were fundamentally flawed, pre-programmed reactions to the current reality and situation at hand.

These limiting beliefs were not my self-seeded and planted-empowered beliefs rooted in abundance, expansion, joy, possibility and POWER.

My inherent flawed beliefs, thoughts and feelings were along these lines…. (observe yours next time and write them down).

I can’t do it.

It’s too hard.

It’s too heavy.

It’s too much.

You are bad and wrong and should be ashamed of yourself.

It almost felt like I could say those things in a workout or a run or a mountain bike ride. But this is NOT true because I love pushing myself physically out of my comfort zone).

4. I replaced my limited beliefs with the reality of who I really am and who I consciously choose to be….

I am strong.

I am equipped.

I am resourceful.

I am getting in my power.

I CAN do this.

There is no other way or choice BUT up.

All things are possible with God.

I can DO this!

I CAN handle this.

I am expanding.

I am safe.

I can do this.

Grow up Amanda, taxes are a fact of life. Nothing to get emotional about. Money is just a tool to use.

You are the master of money, you ain’t no slave girl!! Get in your power.

Get back in the game.

F-O-C-U-S

Get stronger MENTALLY.

I am not a victim. (Threw away my V card a LONG time ago. HA.)

FOCUS.

Breathe.

GET UP, STAND UP.

Remind yourself where YOU ARE GOING.

What you want.

What are your desires.

Shake it off.

Rich people pay taxes. I am a rich, wealthy, prosperous and generous woman.

I can handle this.

Be more committed to your vision and your why than your reality.
