I almost died…
This week’s feature article was written two years ago during the dark night of my soul. I hope that it inspires you in many ways to live your life passionately and to do your soul’s work. If you have been following me the past two years, you have witnessed my transformation. Now, it’s your turn!
I dreamt that I was in a airplane that was about to crash. I was going through the cabin trying to motivate the people, saying, “Wake up! We need a captain. We need somebody to fly this plane.” The other passengers on the plane were basically asleep at the wheel. I was trying everything I could to wake them up to the fact that this plane was about to crash. My heart ached. I had 2 phone calls to make.
I called my Dad, who didn’t answer, and next I called my Mom. I was crying with love and saying that I was not going to be physical anymore. I knew viscerally that I could not die and that my Soul would still be here. I let my parents know that I wasn’t going to be physical anymore but that I would still be here. My heart ached that I couldn’t galvanize the other passengers to save their lives and I knew that I had not fulfilled my life’s purpose or destiny. Ouch!
Then I woke up in a sweat in the dark. My heart was wide open, hot, throbbing and alive. My heart was talking to me. It was intense. I was awake. I was alive.
I am going to help as many people as I can. I am going to be the best lover and wife to my soul mate. I am going to be a loving, present, conscious parent. I am going to have incredible heart based relationships with each of my family members. I am going to have a super successful business that generates great wealth to provide my family the best life possible and to share with others less fortunate. I am leaving a legacy when I leave this planet – not a bunch of “I wish I had’s”.
The realization that this physical body and physical life is a gift was felt all the way to my bones. I know that I am not this BODY, but that this BODY and this LIFE are a divine gift for us to enjoy, serve, share and experience full out.
That morning, I got on a plane and flew to Los Angeles to meet with my business mentor.
The next week, I went to my Dad’s house and we had a huge heart to heart talk and know we are closer than ever – again.
I’ve become much more visible in my business doing things that scare me and at the same time serving, connecting and assisting beautiful souls on their unique paths.
My intention in me sharing this is to help you WAKE UP to the gift of your life.
Your coaching assignment part 1:
1. If you knew you had 24 hours to live what would you do? Who would you call?
2. What would you most regret?
3. What kind of legacy would you want to leave?
4. What relationships would you like to mend?
Your coaching assignment part 2:
Act on all of the above. Don’t put it off, do it now. Call that person and make amends. Get clear on your life’s purpose and legacy and take the inspired action to manifest it right now.
Stop using your body and money barriers as an excuse to put life off.
You have one life to live. Don’t wait until it’s too late.
Live your life now.
I believe in you.
