I just came in from a gorgeous morning of blue bird skiing at Snowbird with Johnn. I feel so free and expansive ripping around the mountain on my skis! I hope you’re having a wonderful and relaxing Sunday!

Sunday is a perfect day to get organized for the week ahead. In today’s manifest your BEST body in 2011 tip, I’m recommending that you schedule and plan all of your meals and exercise times for the week. This tip alone has the ability to make or break your best body goals because “if you don’t move it, you lose it and it!”

Tip #2 Schedule and Plan Your Meals and Exercise for the Week

Exercise Plan

Step 1: Get out a blank calendar.

Step 2: Identify your exercise goals for the week. Example: 3 yoga classes, 2 ski days, 1 day spin class at the gym.

Step 3: Using your favorite color pencil block out your exercise times in your calendar for the week. Place this calendar somewhere you can see it everyday. Inform your family and friends of your schedule and do NOT break it!

Yummy Meal Plan:

Step 1: Take stock of all that you have in your fridge and pantry.

Step 2: Look at your calendar and determine how many breakfasts, lunches, snacks and dinners you need for the week. Can you eat leftovers for lunch? Will you go out to eat anytime this week?

Step 3: Pick the amount of recipes you need for the week and plug them into your schedule.

Step 4: Make your master grocery list (HINT: keep this on your computer as a master list) and plan when you will shop.

Step 5: Go shopping and plan when you will make your meals for the week. Will you bust them all out in one day or make them daily?

Free and AliveOnce you get in the rhythm, all of this will be easy for you so stick with it and don’t give up on the 11th hour!

Planning is essential to success otherwise you are left to what the world has to offer you food-wise and as we know that choice is NOT always the healthiest. Putting a little intention and conscious thought into your food and exercise will benefit you for years to come!
