Imagine-Climbing Everest Blind?
For several weeks now there’s been an inspiring billboard near my house of a man climbing a mountain with the side note “Vision – Climbed Everest Blind” (perhaps you’ve seen the same billboard in your town?).
Can you imagine climbing Everest blind (or even climbing it with 20/20 eyesight!)?!? I want to play with this idea and get it into your head how VITAL having an energizing VISION is to your ultimate success!
In a world where most people are walking around asleep at the wheel, you have to stand above the crowd and think, be and act differently if you want to have an amazing radiant life. It all starts with your Vision.
What the mind can perceive, the body can achieve!
Your mind is powerful beyond measure but you have to USE it in a way that takes you where you want to go!
When I’m coaching my clients it always surprises me how cloudy their vision is when we first start working together. But after they are complete with their coaching package their eyes are laser beamed focused on their goals 99.9% of the time. Every successful person on the planet uses the power of a focused vision to create the life they desire. And so can you starting right now.
A mind is a terrible thing to waste!
Play with me in this visualization.
Close your eyes, take a few deep, long nourishing breaths, relax your face, jaw, shoulders, belly, hips and just be in your body. Focus your attention on your third eye in between your two eyebrows (the Chakra-energy center). Relax and be still.
Now imagine the body of your dreams that plays to your strengths. See it. Then with your inner vision, take note of every detail of your body – your strong legs, curvy hips, see your belly in your bathing suit (the belly you desire!), your toned and beautiful arms, your radiant face, your eyes. Stay here until you can see every square inch of this beautiful body. Keep breathing, relaxing and picturing your ideal radiant body.
Next feel this body, meaning how does this body FEEL walking down the beach? Or sitting at a cafe? How does this body FEEL while it’s practicing yoga, hiking or swimming? FEEL IT! Actually imagine that you are in this new body.
Visualize yourself eating healthy foods that nourish, uplift and energize this body. See yourself choosing healthy snack foods, preparing delicious and nutritious home cooked meals and easily digesting all the food you eat.
Feel the lightness, flexibility, ease and grace of this body.
Great work! You’ve done the fun part, now it’s time to get cracking on this vision! What’s one action step you can take today that will bring you closer to your vision?
Write it down and then commit to it.
Your coaching assignment:
For the next 21 days, close your eyes and mentally envision your ideal body, feel the way it feels for at least 68 seconds every single day. (Hint: You can wear an eye mask over your eyes to really withdraw your senses and go deep within.) If you forget a day, please start over. It’s crucial that you stick with it for the full twenty-one days because that’s how long it takes to shift your energy on a cellular level! (I promise it works! Don’t give up!)
